When the memory card is connected to a PC running Windows, the autorun tries to execute Padobot. Win32/Rays appears as System.exe and with the same icon as the System folder in the memory card. Thus if a user is trying to access the contents of the card through a PC, it is possible to execute Win32/Rays by mistake.
Hence, it is capable of spreading/infecting PC from the device if the memory card is inserted into the Windows PC. It is the first cross platform virus that has been discovered. It disables third party applications on the phone by replacing them with dummy ones and in the process makes a large number of applications unusable.
