Synopsis:
Bootton is a Symbian-OS based trojan that causes the infected device to reboot whenever the menu or any system application button is pressed. It accomplishes this by replacing critical system and third-party applications with its own executable that resets the device when executed. These executables show up as a heart icon titled "I-Love-U" which if the user opens it, it will restart the infected device immediately.
Bootton also installs a modified version of Cabir which is used to distribute itself.
