Mobile Device Reset Codes and Procedures

Windows Mobile Pocket PC Devices

Many Pocket PCs (including the Treo700w) can be hard reset by first holding down the Power button and then poking the stylus into the
Reset hole.

Some devices include a confirmation step where you must press a key to confirm.

iPAQ 1900 Series:

- Press and hold the power button at the top of the unit while simultaneously pressing and holding tiny recessed reset button on the left-hand side of the unit.

- Make sure that you press and hold the power button before pressing and holding the reset button.

- Keep both buttons pressed for several seconds until the screen fades.

- Turn the unit back on.

Samsung SCH-i600:

On power up, hold down the 6 and # keys at the same time.

Symbol MC3000:

While holding down the 1 and 9 keys ,press the little red power button.
