COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobile device security provider SMobile Systems today announced that it is a title sponsor of international windsurfing champion Gal Fridman. Fridman earned worldwide recognition at the Athens Olympic games in 2004, when he became the first Israeli ever to win an Olympic Gold Medal. Fridman will sport an SMobile-branded warm-up jacket and windsail during competitions and events, including his upcoming participation at the 18th Annual US Sailing Rolex Miami Olympic Class Regatta (OCR), January 21-27 in Biscayne Bay, Miami, Florida.
"SMobile is committed to setting the gold standard for mobile security, delivering best-in-class solutions that protect the mobile user experience across any device, on any platform," explained Neil Book, President of SMobile Systems. "It was a natural conclusion to lend our support to an athlete who is synonymous with gold medal achievement. We are extremely proud to be affiliated with Gal as he continues to reach new heights in windsurfing around the world."
"The level of passion, integrity, and commitment that SMobile brings to creating a secure mobile market worldwide rivals that of even the most committed athlete," noted Fridman. "It is an honor to carry the SMobile message on my sails."
US Sailing's Rolex Miami OCR brings together the world's top Olympic and Paralympic class competitors, and is a mainstay on the winter circuit for sailors campaigning for the next Olympic and Paralympic Games.
