SMobile Systems has a product available on the App store called ContactCrypt. ContactCrypt will encrypt all contacts in the iPhone phone book directory.

The dashboards are accessible from our home page, via the “Console Login” link at the top. You’ll need the email address and password you used when registering the on-device software (Anti-Theft or Parental Controls).

The application displays your license expiration date, and notifies you as expiration draws near. You may renew or extend your license at any time. Simply purchase the product, and you’ll receive a new key. Select the Registration option from the application main menu, and enter your email address and password, and provide the new key. Your account expiration date will be updated on our server upon registration.

Please contact SMobile toll free at 1-888-314-5822; if assisting other customers or after hours please leave a detailed message, your call will be returned the next business day. You may also open a support ticket at the following link https://smobilesystems.com/support/

Your carrier’s web site or your phone’s user manual will likely include information on setting up the connection for your specific device, and carrier support staff is always available to help. We do have some information regarding settings, etc., for various carriers, should you still need some assistance. Contact [email protected] , and we will be happy to help either via email, or by giving you a call.

A database of all known virus signatures is maintained on the device. As new data or a new file is received on the device, it is scanned. Any infection is reported and deleted.

The anti-virus program automatically checks for any available update to the virus definition database, polling the server according to the period set in the anti-virus Settings menu. The default setting is every 24 hours. In addition, the user can request a check for updates any time, by selecting “Check for Updates” from the main Security Shield menu.

Mobile security threats are on the rise, so we recommend pulling down updates on a daily basis. The amount of data transferred by such a request is minimal.

You will receive a warning message any time a scan detects malware. You may choose to ignore the warning or opt to allow the anti-virus program to delete the infected file. Information about the detection is maintained in a log file, accessible from the anti-virus menu.

All PIM data will be wiped from the device. PIM (Personal Information Management) data includes the built-in organizer functions of your handheld: Calendar/Date Book, Contacts/Address Book, Tasks/To Do List and Memos. It does not include third-party applications or data.

Some BlackBerry devices have settings which are preset by the carrier/operator and will block 3rd party applications from being installed. SMobile Customer Service will need to assist you with the reconfiguration of these settings. Please contact Customer Service at 1-888-314-5822 or open a customer service ticket at the following link: https://smobilesystems.com/support/

The anti-virus monitor is responsible for automatic scanning. If the AV Status setting on the anti-virus Setting menu is turned “OFF”, no automatic scanning will take place. Thus, for continual protection, the status should always be left “ON”. The main application screen always shows you the status of the monitor. If “ON”, the application is “always running”, providing automated protection.

Google Android is a new operating system. SMobile is working diligently to bring the Android platform up to parity with the other smartphone operating systems SMobile supports. Or, on the device, select the ‘Settings’ menu option, and there too you can find this information. SMobile’s Parental Controls and AntiTheft software is supported on smartphones running the following mobile OS’s: Windows Mobile, Google Android, Symbian or BlackBerry. For the iPhone’s mobile OS, only ContactCrypt is currently available.
